Standard retrofit UV LED lamps emit light in one specific direction and as a result they can only be used in units, executed with lamp holders that match up with this.
Lamp holders in insect light traps come with a vertical pin connection, a horizontal pin connection or a 45-degree angled pin connection.
This lamp uses only 9 Watts to achieve this and can be used retrofit in EFK’s (with max. 2 lamps) executed with a magnetic ballast & starter*1 to replace a fluorescent 15 Watt UV lamp. The ASTRONUV LED 15R – Retrofit lamp can be used in a wide range of EFKs from different brands.
